A word from the Owner of Americana Tax Planning
Rose is a Certified Tax Coach and Certified Tax Preparer. She established Americana Tax Planning in 2010 and this marks her 10th year serving the City of Whittier. She is a leader in the community and works closely with Uptown Whittier Association serving as most recent past president. Rose foundered Whittier Young Entrepreneurs in 2016. She founded The Collab, Inc, Whittier’s first shared work space in 2018. Rose and her team work with self-employed tax payers, helping them strategize, get organized and save on their taxes. Rose also works with W-2 Tax payers to teach them how to leverage their credits, deductions and with holdings. She believes in taking an educational approach when it comes to tax preparation and planning, because we are never taught these things in school.

Cy Vasquez
Sales Director
Cy is our Sales Director for our sister company, The Collab, Inc., where we host all our workshops and events. Along with our tax business, we have a shared work space that all of our clients can have access to a membership for. Cy makes sure he provides all business with networking opportunities as well as basic office needs for small businesses and entrepreneurs to work from. Whether you need a place to host your own event, hold a meeting with your own clients, or have a place to work from daily, he can assist you. His goal is to help each individual or business grow by providing resources that they wouldn’t have at a home office. If you are interested in a membership or have any questions about how you can utilize our shared work space, give him a call!
Stephany Ruiz
Tax Assistant
Stephany is our Office Admin/ Event Coordinator. She will help you schedule your tax appointments or help you plan your own Workshop event. If you have an office that could use a workshop about taxes, bookkeeping or business planning, she will help you host one. Our educational approach is most important to us, so we want to share our knowledge with tax and business planning.
